FAQ
- Q: Why are guests required to pay a fee to attend a public next level event?
- A: We charge a fee for two reasons: 1) Seating is often limited so charging a fee allows us to control the number of attendees, people who pay tend to show up. 2) There is value in networking with our members and guests, a fee helps bring this concept home.
- Q: Are members required to pay a fee to attend public events hosted in their NLE chapters?
- A: No. The annual membership fee paid by a member grants access to all private and public meetings hosted by the chapter to which the member belongs.
- Q: Why are guests not allowed to attend Mastermind sessions?
- A: The mastermind sessions are private due to the high level of trust necessary for an open and productive meeting. Trust only comes with familiarity and a shared commitment that is reflected in NLE membership.
- Q: Can I send a substitute in my place if I am unable to attend a mastermind session?
- A: No. It’s that “trust” thing again.
- Q: Why is membership in a chapter limited to one person per profession?
- A: We believe an environment free of competitors allows for better networking. This is especially true during mastermind sessions in which a member is sharing private details about his business with the team. It just would not work with a competitor in the room.
- Q. Will I be required to take the hot seat in a mastermind session?
- A. Yes and no. Will your team give you the boot if you have not taken the hot seat but have otherwise been a NLE caliber member? No. But, the hot seat is an essential tool for building trust with your team and an extremely valuable tool for you and your business. Resisting may indicate that you are less than serious about taking your business to the next level.
- Q. Will I be required to be a featured speaker at a Next Level Executives public event? I am not comfortable in public speaking situations.
- A. Yes. The success of your NLE team depends in large part to the expanded marketing reach that results from public events. If public speaking is a fear of yours, don’t worry we frequently have experts such as Frank Damelio of Target Intellect appear as guest speakers for workshops on effective public speaking.
- Q. I would like to join Next Level Executives but I do not see a chapter that works for me given my location and/or schedule. What should I do?
- A. Well let’s start a new NLE chapter that works for you. There are bound to be other business people in the area who have similar desires for time and location.
- Q. Who should join Next Level Executives?
- A. Small business owners, independent professionals and employees with profit and loss responsibilities.
